Perception: From Art to Science

Celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Center for Vision Research with "Perception: From Art to Science" on November 9, 2012, from 1 - 5 p.m. (opening reception at 1 p.m.) at the Perry and Marty Granoff Center for the Creative Arts, 154 Angell Street, Brown University, Providence, RI.

The event will feature interdisciplinary multimedia presentations on vision and talks on cutting-edge Brown University coursework in overlapping disciplines including, Animation Lab: creating your own animation movie, and a featured forum, The Art + Science of Face Perception, with lectures by Evan Penny, sculptor, Toronto, Canada and Philippe G. Schyns, department of psychology, Glasgow University.
